About Sunny Point Cafe
Grab breakfast, lunch or dinner at the well-loved Sunny Point Cafe. It’s a great garden-to-table spot and has some of the best breakfasts around. Sunny Point is consistently voted number one for both best breakfast and best brunch in Asheville by the readers of Mountain Xpress.
Our go-to order at Sunny Point will always include their carrot hotcakes with cardamom cream cheese. We like to switch up our other dishes each time, though. The huevos rancheros is absolutely amazing. It has feta, chorizo, potatoes, cilantro cream, black bean cakes, eggs and tortilla chips. You can sub the chorizo for tofu chorizo for a meatless option.
The shrimp and grits is another favorite of ours. It has cheesy chipotle grits and a dijon cream sauce with roasted tomatoes. Sunny Point Cafe tops their shrimp and grits with their amazing bacon.
We highly recommend visiting Sunny Point if you haven’t! There can be a line at times but it’s worth the wait. You can also order online for takeout or delivery. Speaking of, read about our takeout breakfast from Sunny Point here.
