About Biltmore Park
Biltmore Park Town Square is Asheville’s first mixed-use community. While many have failed over the years, Biltmore Park Town Square truly continues to get better.
It spans over 42 acres and includes retail shops, restaurants, a movie theater, office space, apartments, condos and townhomes. Like Biltmore Village, many of the shops are national chains (Orvis, Loft, REI, Barnes & Noble…), but there are local places as well. Biltmore Park Location
Biltmore Park Town Square is located right off I-26 in South Asheville at exit 37. It’s just one exit from the Asheville airport (exit 40.) Nearby attractions include Lake Julian Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the NC Arboretum.
Biltmore Park Neighborhood
We wanted to point out that ‘Biltmore Park’ is often used to refer to the shopping area (Biltmore Park Town Square) as well as the neighborhood adjacent to it. They are essentially an overflow of one another. This guide focuses on the shopping and dining (Biltmore Park Town Square) but refers to it often as ‘Biltmore Park.’
And if you are wondering about Biltmore Park neighborhood, it’s a very desirable place to live. It’s family-friendly, with a community pool, clubhouse, playground, tennis courts and more. There are also paved trails for walkers, joggers and cyclists.
Biltmore Park is close to great grocery stores (Publix, Whole Foods and Fresh Market), the library, parks, the airport and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s about 20 minutes away from downtown Asheville, though traffic is often heavy on the interstate due to construction.
Biltmore Park neighborhood is in the Biltmore Farms portfolio, along with Biltmore Forest, The Ramble, Biltmore Lake and Biltmore Park Town Square.
Restaurants at Biltmore Park
There are so many great restaurants at Biltmore Park. You’ll find delicious breakfast at Mosaic Cafe, a juice shop just across the way, elegant dining at 131 Main, a brewery with outdoor seating and Asheville’s second Taco Boy location. The only thing we think Biltmore Park is missing is a coffee shop. (Seriously, if anyone powerful is reading this, open a coffee shop in Biltmore Park!!!)

Luella’s BBQ: You’ll find Carolina-style BBQ with delicious mac + cheese and a ton of other great sides at Luella’s. Not only are a top pick of ours for the best BBQ in Asheville, but it’s also a very family-friendly restaurant.
Thirsty Monk: Located just around the corner from the main shopping area, Thirsty Monk offers an excellent escape from the hubbub. It’s the perfect place to grab a beer and a bite as you enjoy their outdoor seating area. You can also sit inside if you prefer.
Nine Mile: Wildly delicious Caribbean food in a laidback setting. Nine Mile is an Asheville institution, with three locations around town. Biltmore Park is their newest, but you can find their same great menu at all of the locations. Start with their Live and Give appetizer– it comes with queso, hummus and salsa. A great start to any meal!
Mosaic Cafe: If you are looking for one of the best breakfast sandwiches in Asheville, head to Mosaic and order their Lumberjack! Mosaic is a great spot for a delicious meal any time of day.
Taco Boy: The newest addition to Biltmore Park Town Square! Taco Boy opened in October 2023, and it’s actually the second Asheville location. They are originally from Folly Beach but started expanding
Shopping At Biltmore Park
There are several shops located at Biltmore Park Town Square, from local places like Poppy Popcorn to national giants like REI and Barnes and Noble. It’s also a very walkable area, so you can plan to see it all and shop it all in an afternoon.
Women’s fashion shops includes LOFT, Francesca’s, Athleta, Altar’d State, Wildflower Bridal and Talloni Shoe Salon. There’s also an REI just across from an Orvis, so outdoor lovers will have plenty to keep them occupied. And if you need a quiet place to sit down, there’s a Barnes & Noble, too.

Things To Do At Biltmore Park
Not only is Biltmore Park Town Square an excellent destination for shopping and dining, but there are also opportunities for recreational activities. See below for details on things to do at Biltmore Park.
Regal Biltmore Grande Theater: You’ll find a movie theater at the west end of Biltmore Park near the Hilton hotel. It features stadium seating, digital projection and mobile tickets.
Reuter Family YMCA: There’s a great YMCA located on the east end of Biltmore Park near REI. It’s new and a very impressive facility with a climbing wall, indoor pool, pickleball court, group fitness areas, cycling studio and more.
Club Pilates: Just next to Clean Juice, you’ll find Club Pilates– they make for a great duo! Club Pilates is a low-impact, full-body Reformer Pilates-based workouts available through a variety of classes. Your first class is free!
Zaniac: Your kids will love Zaniac’s year-round STEM programs and camps for K-8th grade. They offer after-school programs, seasonal camps, birthday parties and even parents’ nights out.
Hotels At Biltmore Park
The only hotel located at Biltmore Park Town Square is the Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park. It’s located near the movie theater and has an on-site restaurant (Fork Lore) as well as a spa. It’s a 165-room property and is LEED certified.
