All the details on our OWL Bakery breakfast
We had breakfast at OWL Bakery this morning and it was such a treat. I wish it could be part of our daily routine. The morning buns had already sold out by the time we arrived around 9:45am, but we were able to snag an almond rose croissant, cardamom bun, chocolate chip cookie and a piece of their savory beet chèvre quiche. We also got coffee, of course. They have really good coffee.
OWL Bakery has a window around the side of the building where you place your takeout order. Just look for the line of people and you’ll know you are in the right place! 🙂 If you get an espresso drink you’ll pick it up around the front of the building after ordering. Everything else you’ll get when ordering at the takeout window, though.
We ate behind the building which I think may technically be Gan Shan West’s seating, but they aren’t open in the morning so it works out quite nicely. We were planning to take it to-go but the seating area was pretty empty so we changed our mind at the last minute and decided to stay.
After I took photos (annoying habit), our three year old let me try a bite of his cookie. It was so good that I wanted one for myself. I jumped back in line but they had already sold out when I got to the front. It’s wild watching them cross off item after item on their menu. If you can’t tell, OWL Bakery is well-loved in the city and a definite recommendation from us!
