Lake Julian Park

Lake Julian Park is a public lake and park located in South Asheville near Biltmore Park. It’s an excellent destination for all ages– whether you want to feed ducks, rent a paddle boat, fish, walk, play disc golf or spend time on the playground.

Lake Julian Park is one of our absolute favorite things to do with kids in Asheville. The playground is loosely pirate-themed and there’s always something fun to spot at the water’s edge. In the winter they have a drive-through holiday lights show!
