About Asheville Museum of Science (AMOS)

A great children’s science museum located in the heart of downtown Asheville. It’s educational and entertaining, with tons of fun exhibits for all ages. You’ll find gemstones, fossils, water and sand activities, a toddler foam block area and a large climbing structure depicting the Southern Appalachian Forest. It even has a large bird’s nest at the top!

If you are looking for a kid-friendly activity in Asheville (especially on a rainy day!), then look no further than AMOS. It’s fun, educational and a great space to run around and be a kid.
