About Botanical Gardens at Asheville

The Botanical Gardens at Asheville is a ten-acre non-profit botanical garden located on UNC’s Asheville campus. There you’ll find a 0.5 mile trail, as well as several grassy meadows and creeks. A visit to the Botanical Gardens is such a lovely way to spend a morning or afternoon, either by yourself or with friends or family in tow. It’s a great family activity for us and we typically make it a picnic day.
