Catawba Brewing Company

Catawba Brewing is one of Western NC’s oldest breweries. Their South Slope taproom in Asheville has great outdoor seating that wraps around the building next to Vortex Doughnuts.

While they don’t have the largest selection of beers, they do have some solid mainstays. Try the White Zombie white ale or the Carolina Fog hazy IPA. And if their Peanut Butter Jelly Time raspberry brown ale, you have to give it a try!

Catawba Brewing doesn’t have a kitchen but there are plenty of good restaurants around South Slope to grab a bite to eat.
