Davis Country Store & Cafe

Davis Country Store & Cafe is a market and cafe in Old Fort, NC. They offer biscuits, hearty sandwiches, and ice cream treats.

The menu includes hearty southern classics like sausage on a biscuit with gravy and Reuben on rye. They also offer wonderful plant-based options like the Vegan Big House sandwich with avocado, vegan cheese, and vegan mayo. 

Breakfast is available from 7am-12pm, and they offer deli-style sandwiches from 11am until an hour before closing. They serve a full menu of coffee drinks and smoothies, and if you’re looking for a sweet treat they’ve got regular and vegan ice cream shakes. 

Davis Country Store opens at 7am on weekdays, so it’s the perfect place to stop for a savory breakfast before heading to Catawba Falls, or pick up a hearty sandwich after your hike. Unfortunately, they open a bit later on weekends (9 am on Saturday and 11 am on Sunday.)
