Flora and Forage

Heaven. Actual heaven. Tons of plants, flowers, unique gifts for yourself (or others, I suppose) and coffee! This shop is actually broken into two: Flora is the main shop with all of the plants and Forage is the coffee shop within it.

I’m always inspired to bring a plant friend home from Flora. They make it easy with very specific labels (i.e., sun required, pet-friendly, etc.) — a requirement from me!! Everyone is always so friendly in giving advice for caring for plants, too.

And Forage… wow. Well, first of all you are surrounded by amazing plants in every direction. And second of all, their coffee menu is divine! I normally just grab a drink and walk around Flora, but they do have a few great indoor seats as well as seats out front.

And then there is Forage Gardens in the back!! It feels like an Asheville secret. You’ll find coffee, seltzer, beer, wine and local favorites Sunshine Sammies and Buggy Pops for sale. There are also picnic tables, a fire pit and even a few records!
