Hillman Beer (Old Fort)

Hillman Beer is a brewery in Old Fort, NC. They have a great beer selection, outdoor seating, an awesome food menu, and are kid + dog-friendly.

The beer menu at Hillman includes everything from light Kölsch ale to hoppy IPAs to Czech lagers. They have several rotating specialty brews, ranging from blood orange sours to milk stouts.

They also have a few N/A options like Athletic Brewing, Devil’s Foot craft soda, and kombucha.

Hillman Beer is known for its burgers made with local grass-fed Hickory Nut Gap beef. Their HB Signature Burger comes with a 1 ⁄ 3 lb patty, special sauce, and house pickles. Hillman also has several sandwiches, including the ever-popular Reuben and a grilled cheese on sourdough.

Apart from handhelds, Hillman has salads, a rice bowl and a few shareable appetizers like soft pretzels and pimento cheese dip.

There’s plenty of outdoor seating available, with a few picnic tables at front and a patio overlooking Mills Creek.
