Jeter Mountain Farm Apple Orchard

Jeter Mountain Farm Apple Orchard is a charming apple orchard near Asheville. It sits on 400 acres near DuPont State Forest between Brevard and Hendersonville.

They produce over 20 varieties of apples and other fruits available for picking between July and October. Berries and peaches are the first fruits available in the season for picking. Apples are available August through October. They also have U-Pick flowers available.

Their 1831 Smokehouse BBQ food is a permanent fixture on the property and has excellent food! Try the mac & cheese and sweet potato souffle. Jeter Mountain Farm also has a market shop, a coffee shop, a hard cider taproom and a bakery serving hot apple cider donuts.

Attractions at Jeter Mountain include apple picking, wagon rides and an indoor playground. They also have live bluegrass on the weekends! It’s a very charming spot with an upscale, country club feel.

Jeter Mountain is a fun place to spend a morning or afternoon. They are open on Saturdays and Sundays from July through October. You can also catch them on Thursdays and Fridays during apple-picking season (mid-August through October.)
