Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack – West

As the name suggests, Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack serves spicy fried chicken with mouthwatering sides. This casual Asheville eatery has been a fixture in the community since 2011. They offer 8 different spice levels ranging from plain to extra hot, so you will be sure to find something for every taste.

You can choose from chicken legs, thighs, breasts and tenders. They also have not chicken breaded cutlets made using Quorn products.

As far as sides go, be sure to try the mac & cheese! And if you are up for it, order the fried mac poppers. They are served with Rocky’s zippy ranch and are pretty delicious.

Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack is counter service and there’s often a line but it moves pretty fast.
