About ScreenDoor

ScreenDoor is one of our favorite antique stores in Asheville. It feels like a more curated antique store than most around town. Mostly it’s just a bit less cluttered and is a great escape off the beaten path.

You’ll find items for every budget at ScreenDoor, from original paintings to house plants, antique desks and even a bookstore tucked away in the back. It’s a go-to antique shop for us because we can always find something we are looking for. And, if not, we can still peruse the coffee table-worthy books in the back which is always fun.

As you walk in, you’ll notice that ScreenDoor has a ton of pieces for your garden. You’ll find bird baths, statues, plant pots and more. Inside you’ll find booths that are managed by various vendors and you can tell by the names on the tags and also the feel of each area changes a bit.

My absolute favorite vendor booth in all of Asheville is to the far right when you walk in Screen Door. The room is painted a dark blue and is filled with plants, art and decently priced furniture. It feels like you are in someone’s living room.

There’s a large parking lot out in front of ScreenDoor, so you shouldn’t have any trouble parking.

ScreenDoor is tied for our top antique store in Asheville with The Regeneration Station. Both have great finds, are fun to explore and aren’t too overwhelming.
