White Labs Brewing Co

White Labs is a great brewery in Asheville that uses different yeast strains to brew a variety of beers with unique flavor profiles.

They brew the same beer with different yeast strains, resulting in very different beer profiles. For example, they have two Hoppy Lagers: one brewed with German Lager Yeast and one brewed with French Saison Ale Yeast. You can try both to see how the flavors change. It’s a great way to pinpoint which flavors and styles you really love.

Not only are they known for their beer and brew process, but it’s also a much-loved destination for pizza in Asheville. Their pizza is Neapolitan-style and uses their special yeast strains in the dough. You can choose from a variety of pizzas (we love the mushroom!) and sub vegan cheese, vegan sausage and gluten-free crust. You’ll also find a few salads, appetizers and sandwiches on the menu.

White Labs is located on Charlotte Street, which is just a short walk from downtown Asheville. Parking is easy, as they have a large lot. You’ll find seating both indoors and out, and overall it’s a really laidback place perfect for groups and kids.
