Bear’s Smokehouse – South Slope

Bear’s Smokehouse is a gem of a restaurant in Asheville’s South Slope. You’ll find excellent pulled pork brisket, wings and even vegan meatloaf at Bear’s.

They also have some extra fun menu items, like their bear balls with mac and cheese, pulled pork and cornbread battered, fried and topped with cheese and bacon. As intense as they sound!

Bear’s in South Slope has a great outdoor seating area with picnic tables, fire pits, bistro lights, yard games and Adirondack chairs. They also have indoor seating along with a full bar. It’s a great stop for dinner when on an Asheville brewery crawl.
