Dilbar permanently closed in February 2025
Dilbar is a casual Indian street food restaurant in downtown Asheville. It’s actually just next to its sister restaurant Mehfil, a perfect destination for upscale Indian food in Asheville.
Not only does Dilbar have classic Indian street food favorites, like vada pav, pani puri, chicken tikka masala dosa and lamb frankie, but they also have a whole section of Indian Chinese food. We love their Chicken Szechuan Noodles!
Dilbar is in a cool space with brick walls and an industrial feel. It’s an order-at-the-counter restaurant and has a great Bollywood-style soundtrack in the background.
