Montford Deli

Montford Deli is a great deli and sandwich shop in North Asheville. You’ll find all of the deli classics, like a BLT, a reuben and a divine Italian sub with tangy comeback sauce. We typically get at least one sandwich with each visit. Their daily menu also features things like burgers, chicken fingers, french fries and fried okra. All come recommended by us!

Apart from Montford Deli’s standard menu, they also have daily specials. Wednesday is lobster sandwich day, by the way, and despite it being the last thing you’d expect to eat in Asheville, it’s great! As is their shrimp po-boy, which is another unexpected menu item (available daily). We have also tried their Cuban sandwich– a Thursday special and worth adding to your order!

Montford Deli used to be in the Montford neighborhood but moved to Merrimon Ave in North Asheville in 2023.
