The Freeze

The Freeze of Asheville, also called Tastee Freez, is an ice cream institution in West Asheville. It’s a classic old-school dairy bar serving frozen treats made with traditional ice cream and soft serve.

They have all the ice cream options you can imagine including ice cream with toppings, dipped cones, milkshakes and more.

Order at the walk-up window, online or at their convenient drive-through. They have outdoor tables in front and behind the shop.

If you’re looking for more to eat with your ice cream, they also offer food including hot dogs, BBQ sandwiches and nachos.
