Vivian

Vivian is an upscale European-influenced restaurant located in the River Arts District. It’s a charming spot and the perfect date night restaurant in Asheville.

The menu features dishes like beef tartare, Nordic deviled eggs with smoked fish, potato, and cornichon, and smoked oysters with miso shrimp butter. As far as entrees go, the steak dinner is superb. It’s a 14oz ribeye loin that comes with mashed potatoes and their famous steak sauce. Add mushrooms from Black Trumpet Farm to put it over the top!

Vivian has an excellent Sunday brunch. The brunch menu includes a few of their dinner favorites like the oysters and deviled eggs, as well as a deep-fried chicken biscuit and even a smoked lamb benedict. We personally love starting out with their brioche donuts.

They have an extensive wine list and several cocktails to choose from, as well as local beer.
