7 Awesome Antique Stores in Brevard, NC

A guide to Brevard’s Antique Stores

Of all of the fun things to do in Brevard, one of my top favorites is to browse the many antique stores around. You’ll find everything from architectural salvage to sports memorabilia, rustic cabin decor and even fun vintage finds.

I love spending the day in Brevard strolling around town and popping into the various shops on the hunt for a new treasure. I always have luck at Brevard Marketplace– it’s a great shop with several vendors so you are sure to find something you love.

I also love grabbing fudge at Blast From The Past just around the corner. They have some really fun finds! And once I have had enough of browsing downtown, I make sure to stop in Underground Salvage in the nearby lumber district to see if anything catches my eye.

This guide to Brevard’s antique shops includes details on the various shops around town, but first: a map!

Map Of Where To Find Antiques In Brevard, NC

1. Brevard Marketplace

Brevard Marketplace is a 7,000-square-foot antique shop with several vendors, so you’ll find a little bit of everything.

The shop has tall ceilings and is really spacious, so you won’t get that feeling of being overwhelmed when there is just too much stuff to sift through. We have purchased several items from here, including furniture, wooden art by Ecusta Creative and vintage pieces.

There’s a section in the back with a ton of vintage clothes. So many fun treasures to uncover!

2. Mantiques

Mantiques is a fun shopping experience, with everything from vintage sports collectibles to furniture and gifts. They describe themselves as a ‘combination museum, treasure chest, and scavenger hunt all rolled into a rustic clapboard sanctuary.’ The perfect description!

Mantiques is the perfect destination if you have a cabin to furnish because a lot of their furniture has a rustic log cabin feel. They also have a ton of sports memorabilia and vintage collectibles. As the name suggests, most of their inventory has a more masculine feel.

There are several floors to explore at Mantiques and it’s the perfect place to duck in on a rainy day in Brevard. It is located in downtown Brevard near Brevard Marketplace. They have a second location in Cashiers.

3. Blast From The Past

You’ll have so much fun exploring Blast From The Past’s funky inventory. This is where you can buy an outfit for your next roaring 20’s party or maybe a pair of Mad Max googles.

Not only have a ton of fun, kitschy finds, but they also sell fudge!

It’s located in downtown Brevard and you can easily hop between Brevard Marketplace, Mantiques and Blast From The Past. You’ll even pass Kilwin’s on the way if you want to pop in for an ice cream cone or hand-dipped chocolate treat.

4. Underground Salvage Co.

Though it’s not downtown, Underground Salvage Co. is a must-visit antique store in Brevard. They have a ton of fun larger antique finds, like mantel beams, architectural pieces and antique doors. You’ll also spot vinyl records, art, furniture and a ton of unique finds.

Underground Salvage is a go-to for us when we are looking for something cool and unique to add to our house. And definitely worth the trip from Asheville if you are restoring a home.

They are located in Brevard’s Lumber Arts District. We love getting breakfast or lunch at nearby Morning Social. It’s just a street over and has excellent food, a cool atmosphere and outdoor seating.

5. Hunters & Gatherers

This is such a cool stop when in downtown Brevard. Hunters & Gatherers is more of a gift shop, though they have antique finds and vintage pieces mixed in with newer stuff. Their inventory includes clothing, jewelry, local pottery, candles, accessories, shoes and more.

Hunters & Gatherers is also home to the self-proclaimed smallest bar in the US! It’s off to the side in a separate section and you can cozy up to the bar in a saddle seat. They also have coffee drinks if you prefer!

6. John Reynolds ANtiques

You won’t find antique furniture at John Reynolds Antiques, but you will find a great collection of jewelry, china and glassware.

It’s kind of off-the-beaten-path, a few miles south of downtown Brevard. I wouldn’t bring my kids here because there are a ton of breakable items and the walkways are pretty narrow. But it’s a great destination if you are looking to expand your china collection!

7. Magnolia Vintage Co.

One final shop worth a mention, though it’s really just a vintage clothing shop and not an antique furniture one. Magnolia Vintage is located in downtown Brevard and is filled with some of the best vintage clothing around. You can tell the owner really enjoys collecting and curating for the shop.

There are a lot of great outdoor-ish finds– not outdoor brands, necessarily, but what you’d want to wear on a trip out west. You’ll also find a ton of vintage jeans at Magnolia.

While it’s not a destination for antique furniture, Magnolia Vintage definitely belongs on the list of shops in Brevard with treasure to uncover!
