Several Asheville breweries remain closed due to extensive damage sustained during Hurricane Helene. These breweries were situated in flood-prone areas, including the River Arts District, Biltmore Village, and along the French Broad River.

Breweries In Asheville Flooded By Hurricane Helene

Though Wedge at Wedge Studios took on flood water, they were able to reopen pretty quickly following the hurricane.

Hillman Beer experiencing flooding during Hurricane Helene but was able to reopen in the following months.
10 Brook Street | near Biltmore Village
Hi-Wire’s Biltmore Village location was damaged during the hurricane, but they were able to reopen in the following months.
Permanently closed September 2024
New Origin Brewing remains closed following the hurricane. The building was washed away and it is assumed they won’t rebuild, though there hasn’t been an official announcement.
Hi-Wire’s RAD Beer Garden experienced significant flooding, but they were able to reopen in 2025.
