Bracken Mountain Bakery

Bracken Mountain Bakery is a small bakery in downtown Brevard, NC. Their pastries are the best in town, especially their cheese danish. Try the cherry streusel danish if they have any!

While you are there, make sure to get a few cookies. They have so many to choose from and offer a discount if you order 6 or more. We love the peanut butter chocolate chunk cookies!

Not only do they have great pastries and cookies, but they also bake fresh bread daily. You’ll find everything from Italian bread to rye bread.

There are a few tables inside and a couple on the sidewalk, but for the most part everyone just gets a box for the road. It’s an especially popular spot for cyclists to fuel up while out on an adventure.
