Where To Get Coffee In Brevard, NC

Finally, onto our surprisingly short list of coffee shops in Brevard!

Charming coffee shop in downtown Brevard with excellent food

Cup & Saucer is by far our number one recommendation if you are looking for a new wave coffee shop in Brevard. Everything from the branding to the shop’s design is absolutely perfect. We especially love working remotely from there.

They have a full espresso menu and use beans from local-Asheville Cooperative Coffee Roasters. Apart from coffee and espresso drinks, Cup & Saucer also has a matcha latte, chai latte and even a golden milk latte. They also have a variety of hot teas available.

Not only is Cup & Saucer a great place to have coffee, but they have delicious breakfast options. You can opt for something from their pastry case, like a muffin or scone of the day, or order off the breakfast menu. They typically have a savory quiche of the day, as well as biscuits (egg, cheese, sausage, etc.)

Oh, and they have a mercantile around back! You can even order all of the same drinks and food here, and it’s generally a quieter atmosphere than the main coffee shop.

Pastries, sandwiches, wood-fired pizza in a casual setting

Pisgah Bakehouse is an awesome bakery and cafe in Brevard near the Bike Path. It’s a sister spot to Flat Rock Village Bakery (which is amazing if you aren’t familiar!)

Though they don’t officially call themselves a coffee shop, they definitely have the feel and vibe of one! Plus, Pisgah Bakehouse serves local Asheville roaster Cooperative Coffee. They have a full espresso menu, teas and a matcha latte.

Their pastry cases are always filled with delicious from-scratch treats for breakfast. Try the almond croissant or a danish. You can also opt for a bagel, avocado toast or egg + cheese sandwich if you aren’t feeling anything sweet with your coffee.

Art gallery meets coffee shop in downtown Brevard

Canto 34 is a newer coffee shop in Brevard, NC, having opened in 2022. It’s located in downtown Brevard across from City Hall.

It’s a really cool space, with bold blue walls and art by the shop’s owner Drew Deane. Not only is Canto 34 a coffee shop, but it’s also a lounge with coffee cocktails and other drinks. They are occasionally open in the evenings and have been known to feature live music.

On-the-go coffee at a Brevard bakery

We wanted to include Bracken Mountain on this list even though it’s not actually a coffee shop. They do have coffee, though, and espresso drinks!

It’s a great stop if you want a delightful pastry and a cup of coffee. But if you are looking to work remotely, check out the coffee shops mentioned above.

Bracken Mountain Bakery has local coffee from Brown Bean Coffee Roasters, as well as espresso drinks, chai tea and hot tea.
