Brunch In Brevard, NC: Our Top Picks

This article shares where to get brunch in Brevard, NC. Though there aren’t too many restaurants with a brunch menu, the ones on here should do the trick!

Brevard, NC is quite small, so the restaurants that offer a true brunch are pretty limited. In fact, there is only one that has a daily brunch complete with breakfast cocktails. That restaurant is Morning Social and it’s definitely worth a visit!

There are a few other restaurants that have brunch-like menus though that we wanted to include in our guide to brunch.

Below you’ll find our top picks for where to get brunch in Brevard, NC. If you are looking for a classic brunch, Morning Social is our pick! But Sunrise Cafe is excellent for a morning meal, and Brevard Diner is also a great option for a breakfast/lunch meal.

Where To Have Brunch In Brevard, NC

Below is a map of the restaurants highlighted in this guide. As you’ll see, there are only a few!

Mimosa, grits bowl and great outdoor seating

Morning Social in the Lumber District is one of the best places to brunch in Brevard. After all, there really aren’t many restaurants in the area with a proper brunch menu. Even Morning Social’s isn’t called brunch– but they do serve breakfast and lunch daily and it feels very brunch-like.

Our personal favorite order at Morning Social is anything that includes grits. The breakfast burger with a chorizo patty and a fried egg is also noteworthy.

Morning Social has a variety of brunch cocktails, including a mimosa flight (and a beer flight!) Their breakfast drink menu also includes a spicy bloody mary, a classic paloma and even an Irish coffee. Morning Social sources their coffee beans from Little River Roasting out of Spartanburg, SC.

Morning Social is located in the Lumber District, which is a small part of town with a few shops, restaurants and a music venue. Visiting it (especially Underground Salvage Co.) is on our list of things to do in Brevard. The restaurant itself is in a really cool space, and they also have a great outdoor area if the weather allows.

Counter-service eatery with great breakfast

The Sunrise Cafe is an excellent lunch and breakfast restaurant in Brevard. It’s really close to Brevard College and is a casual, counter-service eatery. It’s always pretty busy but they are quick!

Their breakfast menu includes sandwiches, burritos, build-your-own omelet, pancakes and even a vegan ‘bliss brunch’ with tofu and black beans.

They also have bagels and a variety of cream cheese flavors. We love their asiago bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese!

For lunch, The Sunrise Cafe offers a few salads, deli sandwiches and (my personal favorite) a club bagel. The trio salad plate is a great menu item if you aren’t feeling a sandwich. It comes with a scoop chicken salad served on a bed of lettuce alongside pasta salad and potato salad.

Sunrise Cafe also has a ton of daily specials, with everything from quiche to tacos, sandwiches and salads.

New brunch restaurant in downtown Brevard

Smoke Sunrise is the newest brunch spot in Brevard. They’re located downtown where Mayberry’s used to be.

Their brunch menu is available daily at 8am Tuesday through Saturday. It includes a few breakfast favorites like a bacon egg + cheese croissant and biscuits with gravy. The menu also has several brunch classics like eggs benedict, shrimp & grits, and a brunch burger.

If you are feeling more of a lunch, they have that too! Smokey Sunrise has a few different lunch sandwiches, including one with blackened tuna.

While they don’t have breakfast cocktails, they do have coffee, cold brew, lattes and orange juice.

Local diner with all-day breakfast and Greek fare

I know a diner doesn’t sound like it should be on a brunch guide, but hear me out! They serve breakfast all day and also have a great lunch menu. When combined, bam! That’s brunch.

Ok, yes, maybe it’s missing the fanciness of a brunch eatery. And, no, they don’t serve brunch cocktails. But the Belgian waffles make up for it!

They also have a variety of omelets, eggs benedict and even a monte cristo. For lunch, try a sandwich, burger, lasagna or even moussaka! Speaking of, they have several Greek specialties on the menu.

Consider this our pick for a super casual brunch in Brevard.
