About The Rhu
The Rhu is a great coffee spot, bakery and sandwich shop in downtown Asheville. They have amazing and beautiful pastries, the world’s best brownie and excellent breakfast + lunch options. They also offer picnic lunches for your next Asheville excursion.
Though it may not seem like it when you enter, The Rhu has abundant seating inside. Most of it is located upstairs– you’ll see the door to get upstairs to the left when you walk in.
The Rhu is an order-at-the-counter place and is the perfect spot to pop in for a coffee while shopping around downtown Asheville.
As far as food goes, we recommend their Ham and Jam biscuit for breakfast. It comes with two biscuits, one with Benton’s ham and the other with Imladris Farm berry jam. The Benton’s and Duke is also great! It’s a biscuit with Benton’s ham and Duke’s mayonnaise. So simple and tasty. For lunch, try the Appalachian Sandwich— it comes topped with collard greens! We also really like their Reuben sandwich.
