Kid-Friendly Restaurants In Brevard, NC

This article shares our top picks for kid-friendly restaurants in Brevard, NC with kids, from a hot dog eatery with milkshakes to a local drive-in, outdoor brunch spots and more.

Where To Eat With Kids In Brevard, NC

Old-school eatery with milkshakes and fun eats

Corky’s Dawg House is a diners & drive-in style place, with a menu that includes over 18 hot dogs, BBQ, burgers, sandwiches and more. Though it’s not an actual drive-in, it seems like it would be featured on the show!

Corky’s is an order-at-the-counter restaurant with seating both inside and out. It’s a great place to dine with kids in Brevard.

Pizza and pastries close to the National Forest

New to the scene but not to be missed, Pisgah Bakehouse is by far one of our favorite places to eat in Brevard.

Pisgah Bakehouse is great for kids because it’s order-at-the-counter and they have outdoor seating. Plus, their menu is very kid-friendly with breakfast sandwiches, pastries and wood-fired pizza.

Combine Pisgah Bakehouse treats or a pizza with a picnic at Sycamore Flats – a Brevard must-do with kids!

Casual eatery with outdoor seating

If you are looking for somewhere to get breakfast with kids in Brevard, Morning Social is a pretty cool spot! It’s located near downtown in the Lumber District.

Morning Social has a daily brunch + lunch that includes a kids menu with nutella toast, an egg + cheese biscuit and French toast or a pancake.

For the adults, Morning Social has beer on tap (including a flight!) and a great list of breakfast cocktails.

Order by a table phone at this drive-in diner in Brevard

Cruise back to the 50s at Cardinal Drive-In, Brevard’s only classic diner! You can dine in with retro phone ordering, or enjoy car-side service. It’s fun for the whole family!

Choose from classic diner staples, including burgers, hot dogs, chili dogs, fried chicken, or unique Texas toast creations. And don’t forget a milkshake or malt– it’s the perfect cheeseburger companion!

Cardinal Drive-In is cash only!

Counter-service eatery with great breakfast

Brevard’s Sunrise Cafe (near Brevard College) is a great destination for a casual breakfast or lunch in a counter-service setting.

While they don’t have a dedicated kids’ menu, there are plenty of kid-friendly options. Breakfast includes bagels, breakfast sandwiches, burritos and omelets.

Kids especially love the variety of bagel and cream cheese options– specifically the strawberry cream cheese on a blueberry bagel!

Lunch offers salads, deli sandwiches, and my favorite – the club bagel. Daily specials include quiche, tacos, and more.

Enjoy a meal with your kids at a local diner

All-day breakfast wins at Brevard Diner, a classic near Brevard College! You’ll love dining here with kids because it’s a laid-back spot with several options on the kids’ menu.

Diners ages 10 and under can choose from a few breakfast options, including chocolate chip pancakes and french toast.

Their lunch and dinner kids menu (also for ages 10 and under) features a cheeseburger, grilled cheese, corndog, hot dog and more.

Don’t miss their surprising yet delicious Greek fare featuring moussaka, pastitsio, and gyros.

Outdoor patio + kids menu at an upscale spot

Though Quixote is a great option if you are looking for an upscale restaurant in downtown Brevard, it’s actually pretty kid-friendly.

Quixote has a kids’ menu with everything from a quesadilla to a hamburger. They also have an outdoor patio that’s perfect for kids.

Casual coffee shop with great fare

While the local Cup & Saucer coffee shop in downtown Brevard may not sound like somewhere to dine with kids, it’s a family favorite of ours!

They have several great pastries and food options, as well as outdoor dining.

There’s also a separate seating area in their Mercantile shop around the back. If you plan to dine at the Mercantile, you can order there! They have the same offerings as the coffee shop up front.

Counter service American fare with excellent outdoor seating

Jordan Street Cafe is a counter-service restaurant in Brevard serving everything from pasta to burgers.

You’ll love their patio in the back. It offers excellent outdoor dining complete with mountain views (and is unexpected when you enter the cafe!)
